Group fitness is one of the many awesome services we offer at 24/7 Fitness.

These highly motivating classes are designed to inspire and assist you in your efforts to better health. We have several different classes available most days of the week. Please check out the list below to see the best option for you. Actual timetables are updated on our Facebook page and in each site. Below is a basic description of our classes.

Flex & Friends: High Intensity training

Time: Monday 9:30am, Tuesday 10:00am

Location: Porirua

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. “A high-intensity workout increases the body’s need for oxygen during the effort and creates an oxygen shortage, causing your body to ask for more oxygen during recovery."

ZUU Icon

Time: Monday 6:30pm & Saturday 7:30am

Location: Porirua

Liberating human movement. ZUU is a registered bodyweight training modality that started in elite sports and armed forces. Over the years ZUU has become an integral part of these sectors being used for pre-season training, game specific conditioning, rehabilitation, confined space training, remote location training and frontline troop training where equipment is unavailable or unaccessible. ZUU Culture is so powerful because it’s based on ZUU philosophy which addresses the basic needs of human health and wellness besides fitness, that of belonging and being supported.

CIRCUIT is a form of body conditioning or resistance training that uses high-intensity aerobics and exercises. It targets strength building, muscular endurance, and overall fitness. If you’re looking for a motivating environment to train with others and get a good sweat out, then circuit is for you.

CIRCUIT is a form of body conditioning or resistance training that uses high-intensity aerobics and exercises. It targets strength building, muscular endurance, and overall fitness. If you’re looking for a motivating environment to train with others and get a good sweat out, then circuit is for you.


Time: Monday 6:30pm

Location: Whitby

High energy fun cardio workout to improve fitness and co-ordination. Burn calories, increase fitness, and tone your legs and butt. From your recommended 10,000 steps a day, you can count on doing over half of them in one class of STEP. This class is a great addition and compliments your training routine. Whatever goals you wish to achieve STEP will help you get there. Fully optional and caters for every fitness level.

Description Variable intensity cardio workout mixed with conditioning utilising resistance bands. Suitable for all fitness and ability levels

Mind Body

Time: Tuesday 7:30pm & Friday 9am

Yoga sprinkled with pilates to music for all over conditioning and release.

Body Boost


Body Boost are exercises for body conditioning, involving both strength and cardio on an easy to high intensity level. The aim is to have fun while improving full body strength and flexibility, focusing on exercise techniques.

Constant Fire

12.15pm Mon, 12.15pm & 6pm Fri

Constant Fire is a form of body conditioning that uses medium to high-intensity strength and aerobic exercises. The class is designed to build strength, create muscular endurance and improve overall fitness.

Move Well

10.15am Tue and Thu

Move Well classes include a range of exercises challenging coordination, balance, strength and flexibility. The exercises are for all fitness levels. The aim is to have a laugh while toning all muscle groups, improving body awareness.

Kettlebell Fire

6am Tue

Kettlebell Fire is a medium to high intensity workout using different weights of Kettlebells. The class is designed to challenge strength and endurance of the whole body.


6.30pm Tue

Spin is a high energy indoor cycling class suitable for all fitness levels, led by a motivating instructor. It aims to boost your fitness levels, targeting fat burning, strength and speed.


5.30pm Thu

Pilates works on balancing all muscle groups, improving strength and flexibility with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and is designed to increase your wellbeing through improvement of agility, strength and body awareness.

Race the clock in our 30 minute interval style class. RiDE five minute intervals of 20 seconds racing and 10 seconds rest. By the end of the class you'll be in the after burn zone and you'll continue burning calories long after youve hit the showers. Class is open to all fitness levels - you control the intensity of the workout!

Suspended Body Training is a form of resistance training that uses a system of ropes to allow users to work against their own body weight. These compound movements provide a whole body workout building lean muscle, increasing core strength, balance, flexibility, stability and strength.

Ever Active

10:45am Tue/Thu

A light paced workout to improve your overall health and wellbeing. Ideal for our senior members or anyone new to exercise.


9:30am Mon, 6pm Tu/Thu, 9:30am Fri, 8am Sat

An intense 30-minute anaerobic circuit class incorporating a mixture of resistance work, body weight, muscular endurance and cardio based training. Workouts can be AMRAP, EMOM or for time. This is for you if you want to test your limits, non-stop sweat and burn calories.

JT’s Dance Jam

6:30pm Tu, 9:30am Sat

Johanna brings you her latest dance fitness class 'JT's DANCEJAM' Funky, down to earth latin infused dance moves that are sure to bring you back for more!


10:15am Wed, 5:15pm Fri

Nothing but stretching. You'll stretch parts of your body you knew never existed.


Muscle Express

5:15pm Wed

A 35 minute weights-to-music workout based on fundamental weight training principles and designed to improve your muscular strength and body shape. Uncomplicated movements so minimal co-ordination is required.
