CIRCUIT

CIRCUIT is a form of body conditioning or resistance training that uses high-intensity aerobics and exercises. It targets strength building, muscular endurance, and overall fitness. If you’re looking for a motivating environment to train with others and get a good sweat out, then circuit is for you.

 
STEP IT UP

Time: 6:30pm Wednesday

Location: Porirua

Description:
Burn calories, increase fitness, and tone your legs and butt. From your recommended 10,000 steps a day, you can count on doing over half of them in one class of STEP. This class is a great addition and compliments your training routine. Whatever goals you wish to achieve STEP will help you get there. Fully optional and caters for every fitness level.

BOX FIT is an explosive and high intensity training that helps to develop speed, power, fitness, and overall conditioning. Using boxing fundamentals, BOX FIT is sure to get you the results. BOX FIT classes include technique and core training.

Flex & Friends: High Intensity training

Time: 7:30pm Saturday

Location: Porirua

Description:
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. "A high-intensity workout increases the body’s need for oxygen during the effort and creates an oxygen shortage, causing your body to ask for more oxygen during recovery."
